Is ROGER an application or a bank?

ROGER is the digital military banking division of 123-year old Citizens Bank of Edmond. Citizens owns and operates ROGER and deposits are FDIC insured through Citizens Bank of Edmond. Veteran-owned and led Citizens Bank of Edmond specifically made ROGER to serve the military community. ROGER has the modern technology of a FinTech with the stability and safety of a 5-star Bauer rated community bank.

Are there any fees?

ROGER provides free checking and saving accounts with no overdraft or dormant accounts fees, no monthly maintenance costs, and no minimum balance requirements to open an account.

Who can use ROGER?

Products and services are developed with the needs of service members in mind, however ROGER can serve all consumers. If the features speak to you, open an account today.

Is my money safe?

Your money is protected through the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. All customer deposits under ROGER and Citizens Bank of Edmond would be combined for a total insurance amount of $250,000 per depositor, per ownership category.

How do I open an account?

To open an account, you must be 17 years or older, have a social security number and a valid government-issued ID. You can apply anytime online.

Why do you need my social security number?

Your social security number is needed to verify your identity.

What is Round Up?

Round Up is a way to save a little bit at a time. When you make a purchase on your ROGER debit card, you can choose to round up transactions to the nearest dollar and put it into your savings account. To get started, set up a Savings Goal from your app and select Round Up as a way to save.

What is Round-Up Match?

To help you save more, ROGER will match each Round Up amount and contribute directly to your savings goal. 

For the first 90 days after account opening, ROGER will match 100% of round-ups, up to $100.00. The funds will be deposited into your savings the first business day following 90 days after account opening. After 90 days, we will match 15% of round-ups, up to $20.00 per 30-day period.

If you turn off Round Up as a way to save, you will no longer receive Round-Up Match funds.

The match credit is tax reportable, but should not be reported as interest. Limitations apply; see "When will I receive my Round-Up Match?" below for more details.

When will I receive my Round-Up Match?

For any customer who selects Round Up as a way to save, ROGER automatically rounds up debit card purchases to the nearest dollar and transfers that amount from your Checking Account into your Savings Account. For the first 90 days after account opening, ROGER will match 100% of round-ups, up to $100.00. The funds will be deposited into your savings the first business day following 90 days after account opening. Starting on the first business day of the month following the initial 90 days, ROGER will match 15% of round-ups, up to $20.00 per month. The Round Up funds will be deposited in your Savings Account every 30 days following the start of the new 15% Round Up match period. If you turn off Round Up as a way to save, you will no longer receive Round-Up Match funds. The match credit is tax reportable, but should not be reported as interest.

How do I get paid early?

With Early Pay, ROGER provides early access to your paycheck funds if you have direct deposit set up. Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to 4 days earlier than the scheduled payment date.

Where do I find the direct deposit form?

You can find the direct deposit form in the mobile app or online banking. Navigate to Profile & Settings, Direct Deposit. On your phone, the Settings menu is under More.

How do I switch my accounts to ROGER?

Use our switch kit to make your transition to ROGER as easy and convenient as possible.

How do I find my account number?

You can find your account number in your online banking or mobile banking. From your dashboard, select the account preview to open the account details screen. Select the "eye" icon to make your full account number visible. If you have trouble locating your account number, you can contact us at +1 (844) 995-2484.

What is the routing number?

The ROGER routing number is: 103013415.

ROGER Bank is powered by Citizens Bank of Edmond. The ROGER routing number is a secondary routing number for Citizens Bank of Edmond.

How do I put money in my account?

You have a few easy ways to get started. The easiest way is to set up your paycheck for direct deposit. ROGER has a military-ready direct deposit form available in the mobile app or online banking. Navigate to Profile & Settings, Direct Deposit. On your phone, the Settings menu is under More. You can also move money to ROGER from another account. Look for Pay and Transfer, then External Transfer in online banking or your mobile app.

Where can I get cash?

Cash can be obtained from virtually any ATM worldwide, or at a merchant that allows cash-back transactions using your ROGER Visa® Debit Card.

Why were there two deposits and a withdrawal to my linked account?

You may see two small deposits and a withdrawal made with your linked account within 2-5 business days of linking your account with ROGER. This helps verify your connected account before we allow deposits or transfers to be made.

What is a Savings Goal folder?

You can personalize the way you save over time by creating a virtual folder within your savings account. Money can be added all at once, as a set amount, or as a percentage of each deposit. You can pause savings contributions or remove money from your virtual folder at anytime.

What is a spending folder?

You can set up personalized folders for anything you want, think food or entertainment, then track your spending as you go to better understand where you spend your money.

How can I open an additional product if I already have one?

To open an additional product within online banking, click on the Products tab and select "Open a New Account." From the mobile app, click on More > Products > Open a New Account.

How do I enroll in online banking?

When your account is approved, you will be prompted to enroll in online banking and guided through the process step-by-step. If there are any questions regarding this process, please contact us at +1 (844) 995-2484 or support@roger.bank.

What is Bill Pay?

You can schedule recurring bills be paid automatically. Set it up in the mobile app or online banking under Pay & Transfer.

Debit Card

How long will it take to get my card?

You will receive your debit card within 4 business days. When you receive your card, you will set your PIN when you activate your card in the mobile app or online banking.

When can I use my card?

After you receive your debit card and follow the steps to activate it, please wait one hour before using the card and before adding it to your mobile wallet.

Where can I find ATMs that won't charge me a fee?

There is no charge for an ATM within our partner networks - Pulse, Word Pay, Visa, or AFFN. ATM owners may charge an additional fee, or surcharge. ROGER will reimburse any additional fees.

Where can I use my debit card?

You can use your debit card worldwide – anywhere Visa is accepted. When traveling internationally, simply switch on "Foreign Transactions" in the Manage Card section in your mobile app or online banking account.

What do I do if my debit card is lost or stolen?

First, lock your card from online banking or your mobile app (see next question for how to). Then, call to report LOST or STOLEN cards call: +1 (844) 995-2484 during business hours. A representative will assist you with blocking your card and preventing further charges from being applied to your account.

How do I lock my card?

You can prevent debit card transactions by locking your card when you're off the grid or if you lost your card. Look for Manage Cards in the More menu from your mobile app or online banking account.

How do I change my PIN?

You may change your PIN in the mobile app or online banking. Look for Manage Cards in the More menu.
